The Infants and English course in November is now open on the CEP Cantabria page.
The trainer is Inés Delgado Echagüe Sell an experienced teacher trainer for teachers working with Infant school children and English.
Goals:
- Facilitate the
correct initiation into the English language of very young children.
- To promote
strategies that favor oral expression in English: explanatory theories,
appropriate moments for its implementation, organization of spaces,
materials and times.
- Dynamize the
teaching resources for the learning of the English language in early childhood
education: Functional language related to the class, techniques of
exploitation of songs and poems, the use of stories in English, games, use
of materials and creation of them.
- Learn to develop
the themes of the Early Childhood curriculum through the use of adapted and
improvised stories.

development and the affective bond between the children and the
acquisition of the English language.

learning: understanding versus translation

resources for the introduction to English: participation versus repetition

'letter' of activities to prepare the 'menu of the day'

Methodology:
Active, participatory and fun. We will make a brief theoretical tour and
develop teaching units of direct application in the classroom.
